D.M.A.

Sheets Memorial’s senior saints group is called D.M.A. also known as Don’t Mention Age. This group provides opportunities for fellowship and fun activities to our members of the church who are at least 55 years young. Some of the activities that this group participates in include ice cream socials, gathering at a local restaurant, trips to the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte and even bus trips to the mountains.

See Stephen or Tammy Pace to help with D.M.A. events.

Choir

One of the highlights of our Sunday morning services is hearing our adult church choir sing. Under the direction of Paul Sprouse, this group prepares the hearts and minds of the congregation through song. Along with the weekly specials in the church services, the choir also preforms a Christmas and Easter cantata.

Contact Paul Sprouse to audition for the choir.

Cook Team

This group of faithful church members helps with the food preparation of the different events that Sheets Memorial holds. The Cook Team plans and prepares the meals associated with our Stewardship Banquet in January, Missions Banquet in August, and Fall Festival in October.

See Druid and Juanita Myers to help in the Cook Team.

Media Team

The members of the Media Team assist the church services by monitoring sound equipment, recording services, and overseeing the power-point presentations. This group makes our services both sound and look professional as we worship the Lord and sit under Pastor Matthew’s preaching ministry.

See Paul Sprouse if you’d like to be a member of the Media Team.

Prayer Chain

Our church Prayer Chain is list of people committed to praying for the needs of the church, its members, or situations in our community. A group email is sent by our administrative assistant, Edith Matthews, with specific prayer requests that our church members send to her and the rest of the church staff.

If you’d like to join the Prayer Chain, tell or email Edith Matthews.

Benevolence Committee

Our Benevolence Committee is a group that assists with meals and meal planning to those who have just lost a loved one. Coordinated by Ruth Everhart, this group has been of great benefit to those who are dealing with the loss of their loved one as well as the their family during that time.

Contact Ruth Everhart about serving on the Benevolence Committee.
