Missions Conference

Another highlight of the church’s calendar year is the Missions Conference. Held on the week before Homecoming Sunday, Sheets Memorial’s Missions Conference is a time to interact and learn from four different missionary families who are either on furlough or who are about to move onto the mission field. The week starts with our Missions Banquet on Monday night to introduce our missionary guests as well as the conference theme. Then, Tuesday through Friday nights are dedicated to seeing the missionary presentations in breakout sessions as well as a general session held by age group.  Our church family enjoys the interaction with the missionaries and gives them a greater and more heartfelt love for worldwide missions.
